Just after Sydnie and I got married we moved to Broken Arrow, OK where I took a new position. After talking to the pastor we immediately joined a new small group that was launching. It was newly/nearly married small group. We ranged in age from 22-33. The youngest couple in the group had been married the longest the oldest, not us, had been married the shortest. Although God only had us at that church for a few years, this group was extremely important in our lives and to our relationship with each other.

Over the past for months I have noticed a lot of young couple within our church and I know that most of them are not involved in a small group. Guys I want to ask you to please get involved in a small group. For the sake of your marriage. For the sake of your family. For the sake of the church. You are going to need to find some other people who can help you doing things around your house. Who you can talk to when things get tough. Who can tell you how they saved a ton of money on their car insurance.
