This year it has my pleasure to do pre-marital counseling for many young couples at our church. I have really enjoyed going through the material with them as they prepare for a marriage and not just for their wedding. Part of our process is to speak into them the importance of a network of friends to surround themselves with that aim to support their marriage.

Several of these couples are coming together in the coming weeks to launch a new small group and we want you to help invite other young couples. I also want to challenge 1-2 older, more experienced couples to mentor this young group in the areas of finances, home ownership, starting a family, growing together spiritually, etc. We must bridge the generational gap between our groups in an effort to help young couples thrive and to help older couples find some fulfillment in investing their knowledge into others.
