The past month at Harrah Church we have been seeing some incredible things happening. Our mission to take aid to the starving children in Africa is being blessed by God at each turn. Just incredible to see how God is dropping the pieces into place. Our student ministry has been ratcheting up. The students are growing together, our volunteer force is amazing and we baptized several students last month, had 8 accept Christ this past weekend and look forward to baptizing more at the end of this month. The kids ministry knocked it out of the park with the Family Experience. The worship band is sounding incredible. People are stepping up left and right to help connect others in ministry and to help shepherd those struggling with life. My email and phone are blowing up with people who have moved into the community who want to know about Harrah Church. Our Early Learning Centers are near capacity.

Our God is amazing and we are getting to witness some amazing things happening in Harrah and through the people at Harrah Church. I think part of seeing God do amazing things is being in the right place at the right time. God is working all around us, but when we put ourselves in the middle of where He is focusing His energy we will see incredible things. If you are not serving at the church you are missing out on an opportunity to see God moving. If you aren’t involved in helping the poor, the widow or the orphan then you are missing a chance to feel the heart of God pulse in your chest when you watch a tear fall from an eye or a smile break across the face of someone who has been missing that compassion in their lives. If you aren’t involved in a small group you are missing out on a community that can bring value to your live and help you out when you are hurting.

Harrah Church has more to offer than a killer worship service. Get involved in something that saturates your life. There is a difference between standing next to the lake and jumping in. Jump into a new area of ministry be refreshed by the work of God around you and get on fire for what is happening at Harrah Church.
