We are constantly evaluating tools that we believe can help equip people FOR ministry and connect people IN ministry. Our primary vehicles for these two things have been our Facebook page and our website. We believe that The Table Project is a tool that will bring more value to our community. The table is a place where community takes place and our new online Table will bring people together in groups, to serve and to share resources and needs. This is going to be an amazing opportunity for our church to share with each other and create missional movements within our neighborhoods. I have listed several service projects that we need to tackle in my neighborhood. Building a wheelchair ramp for an elderly couple. Roofing the home of a family in very ill health. What happens when the church comes together to share in missional adventures and touch the lives of people in need? I am talking about making connections. Relational connections. Sometimes it is not about what we know, but who we know. With such a large congregation I KNOW that our participation at The Table will change our community and bond our church in new ways.
