This past Sunday Pastor Kevin Daniels took a moment in each service to have a Fireside Chat about some items that need attention here at Harrah Church. During this conversation Pastor Kevin made note of three facility items that are in need of attention and that we will be raising funds towards through the end of the year.

The first of these items is correcting a floor void beneath the south end of the Education Building. In the last 4 months we have noticed a drop in the interior floor and walls. With the recent earthquakes in our area we want to be very proactive about addressing this issue before any drastic damage is done to the building. This process involves drilling holes to inject a material that expands and hardens to raise the floor to the needed height.

The second item we discussed is filling the cracks in the parking lot that have develop over the last 6 years. addressing this now will keep the parking lot from deteriorating faster than necessary. The winter months are the hardest on the parking lot with water freezing and thawing over and over.

The third item we want to address is the need for Ice Breaks on the roof of the Education Building. These Ice Breaks prevent ice from sliding off the building and onto people and equipment, such as air conditioners. This is a simple fix that will prevent potential damage from occurring over the winter.

Between these three items we will need to raise between $20,000-$30,000 in the next several months. We ask that contributions to these projects be marked Building Fund and thank you for your service and donations towards these projects.
