What better way to rid the evil one of his power in moments that he is trying to demolish us than to bow in reverence and worship our King. The translation for “you shall worship” is derived from the word proskynéō, properly “to kiss the ground when before a superior.” Instead of standing in worship afraid to let loose for fear of what others might think or not letting go in worship and honoring your King because of distractions why not bow and kiss the ground or raise your hand to conquer the fear of the evil one. Often times in worship we are hindered from truly revering our King because we chose to serve the fear the evil one offers. Let it not be so in my temple. I will worship the Lord.
